Welcoming 2020, Mitsubishi Release 2 New Models Soon

Mitsubishi is again preparing to present a new model – In early 2020, it was reported that Mitsubishi will soon implement a refresher on two models that have long been sold on the market. The first is Outlande which has been sold since 2012. Where, this model will be present by offering hybrid variants.

This news was stated directly by Bernard Loire as CEO of Mitsubishi Europe. Which, reportedly, the latest Outlander will carry the same platform used by its alliance products with Renault and Nissan.

“In the second half of next year we will have a replacement for Outlander at the moment. The model will be made from an alliance platform, “Loire said to Automotive News Europe, beginning in January 2020.

In addition, Loire also stated that in addition to Outlander, it is rumored to be introducing a Small SUV which will be another option for consumers. This is certainly an interesting topic considering the Japanese manufacturer is not uncommon to give surprises.

However, with regard to other models besides Outlander, Loire itself does not give much more comment. That is, it is still unknown what model other than Outlander will be exhibited by the manufacturer of the three diamond logo. Surely this car will certainly be appropriate using the design language that is currently commonly found in other Mitsubishi cars.

On the one hand, it is strongly suspected that later the latest Mitsubishi Outlander model which is reportedly going to be launched in the second half of 2020 will be present by carrying the Engelberg Tourer concept which was previously rumored to have taken the floor in Geneva in March 2019. Of course, this suggests that the Mitsubishi is currently still focused on developing and working on a family SUV.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, for the matter of its own price, no comments have been made by Loire about the numbers. However, it is possible that there will be a price difference with the version currently sold. However, with a nominal difference that is not much different.
