The report appeared on the internet for the first time by someone from China who used the name Digital Chat Station. The leak was accompanied by a picture of the Oppo smartphone charged at 80W charging speed, as reported by My Smart Price.

Furthermore, Oppo has a competitor namely the Nubia Red Magic 5G which is rumored to be carrying 100W fast-charging. Even the official AnTuTu Weibo account recently commented on the fast charging of 100W by Nubia.
The company has also begun teasing devices via uploads on Weibo with a text that translates roughly like this: “It’s been 7 days at home, and it’s time to refill. Do you think this speed is OK?”.
Well, the picture attached shows the device is charging. We can easily see that the voltage is 8.4V and the current is 9.6A and with a simple count, this shows that the effective wattage is 100W.
